Getting electric cars may not be easy. Although several automakers are developing all-electric cars, none is yet mass-produced. Daimler has an experimental fleet of 100 battery-powered Smart cars being offered for monthly lease in London and expects to launch a similar program in Berlin by year's end. Nissan plans to introduce its first all-electric model in 2010, followed by Renault in 2011. Though it would be more economically feasible for Paris to buy a fleet of existing EV models rather.
